Faculty Member, School of English, Communication, and Philosophy
About
My research focuses on various aspects of moral psychology and is informed by social psychology and existentialist philosophy as well as current debates in anglophone philosophy.
I am interested in understanding the key psychological concepts employed in philosophical ethical discussion, such as 'character' and 'intention', whether or not they genuinely refer to psychological realities, and how they get misapplied in discussing particular moral issues.
